The life cycle of a sea turtle.
Eggs
Firstly an adult female will go on to the beach and lay 50-200 eggs, The eggs look like ping pong balls, they feel soft and smooth. After she has laid her eggs, she covers them with sand and leaves them to hatch. The eggs will take approximately 6 weeks to hatch. 20% of her eggs will never hatched.
Babies
The babies are around the size of your palm. On the way to the beach there are many dangers such as crabs, birds, rubbish and holes. But sadly only 50% of those babies will never make it to the sea. Once they’ve entered the sea they look for places to hide such as seaweed or kelp.
Growing up
Growing up
While growing up there are more risks rather than less risk or dangers In sea such as big waves ,whales, pollution, sharks, dolphins, sea birds most of the sea turtles die when they go up to breathe.
50% of the sea turtles die in the sea because of their predators.

Adults
Female sea turtles live upto 80 years of age.In approximatley 20 years a female sea turtle can start breeding again. She pulls herself upto the beach and lays her eggs, only 10% of her eggs survive the sea turtle progress. So this completes the life cycle of a sea turtle.
a quick recap!!!
so 50-2000 eggs
800 hatch
400 make it to the sea
200 turn into an adult
20 make it through human interference
2 survie throughout the whole 50-200 eggs
and only 2 could repeat the whole life cycle again
So that Is the life cycle of a sea turtle…
